An investigation has been launched into the death of a 30-year-old man in a house in Canning Town, west London.
Police have said they are “concerned” about the man’s death.
It is not yet known how he died, but it is not thought to be suspicious.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “We were called at approximately 1720hrs on Friday, 27 April by London Ambulance Service to a property in Elliot Street, Canning Town.
“Police were also called to the property at approximately 2234hrs.
“Officers attended the scene and, as well as colleagues from the Homicide and Major Crime Command, are conducting a murder investigation.
“Sadly, a 30-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“We are now investigating his death as suspicious and are treating it as a murder.”
The man has not yet been formally identified, but the family of the victim have been informed.
A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
